To our customers, employees, and suppliers,

We are writing on behalf of the entire ChemtronRiverbend (CRB) Team to assure you that the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities is our top priority. As this coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to rapidly spread throughout our communities, CRB is here to assist with your water treatment and wastewater needs.

We recognize the personal impact this is having and the uncertainty this situation may bring to all of you. Our thoughts are with those who may be affected.

As much as reasonably possible, here at CRB, we are taking precautionary measures and have adopted protocols to limit the exposure of our customers and our team members to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in accordance with the guidelines set by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (and other local and federal public health regulations). CRB is both a chemical manufacturer and distributor of critical chemistries supplied to several identified sectors (medical, healthcare, institutional, food & agriculture, energy (fuel & power), water & wastewater, and chemicals).

Our current contingency plan and protocols include the following immediate actions:

  • Customer Service is available in the office or remotely if needed by calling our main phone numbers: 636-940-5445 or 800-345-4399
  • Employees – To handle employee needs for childcare due to school closings, we are allowing staggered work hours into the evening to allow all work to get done. All Employees have been told to stay home in case of any sign of sickness and we have equipped any employee that can work remotely with the tools to do so, if needed. We have reviewed best practices with employees on hygiene practices to minimize possible virus exposure.
    • Our operations teams will be implementing additional requirements on supplier personnel delivering product to our facilities including implementing enhanced protocols for the cleaning of our facilities.
    • Our delivery personnel will adhere to customer requirements for in person deliveries with an emphasis on limiting contact with your operations personnel.
    • All non-essential travel has been cancelled. Our sales team will be available by phone, email or the use of Microsoft Teams for consultations and discussions.
  • VisitorsWe are limiting all outside visitors to our facilities to help prevent exposures.
  • Product / Stock – We have temporarily increased raw materials, and stocked items to maintain orders for clients to help alleviate any strain on a temporary supply loss. We also have multiple suppliers for the majority of raw materials. Most suppliers do not see any issues pending for continued supply, but note, this could be affected should federal, state or local governments make some sort of a decree in specific areas.
  • Purchasing/Supply Chain – Personnel will continue to monitor changes in supplier production along with current inventory levels and customer demand for particular products and endeavor to provide updates on evolving changes in the supply chains impacting your operations.
  • Outbound ShipmentsWe have no control over shipping but are using multiple shippers to minimize any long shipping delays.
  • Technical HelpWe have made available both the primary technical representative and a secondary backup on standby to provide remote conference calling via phone or Microsoft TEAMS (a video conferencing and data sharing program on the web).
  • Production Backup – Should we lose the ability to mix in St Charles, we can move mixing to our tolling partners. However, we see no reason we would need to do this barring natural disaster.
  • Multi Warehousing – We have multiple stocking points for items. The majority of stock is located in St. Charles, Mo along with our main production / repacking capabilities. We have three satellite locations located in Avondale PA, Arleta, CA, and San Leandro, CA.  We also have a large network of toll producers we can work with in disaster situations.

Our goal is to keep you safe and informed and on top of the rapidly changing market conditions. Our sales team will be reaching out to you to get your input on how you’d best like to communicate and to set regular interactions as we normally would through whatever means you deem appropriate.

We greatly appreciate our relationship with you and your understanding and cooperation throughout this situation. We will continue to keep you informed of any significant updates to these protocols and our operations.

Sincerely,

CRB Water Inc.
