Anaerobic Treatment

Anaerobic treatment is a popular, energy-efficient method for treating industrial wastewater systems. The process utilizes anaerobic bacteria to break down organic matter in wastewater and convert it to a natural, renewable methane/biogas while creating 90% less solids than a similar aerobic unit. Anaerobic treatment is commonly used due to its many benefits:

  • It has a lower chemical usage than aerobic treatment options.
  • It has a smaller reactor footprint.
  • It produces lower amounts of excess sludge.
  • It creates biogas, a valuable source of energy.

At ChemtronRiverBend, we utilize Metsource AN, a bioavailable concentrated micronutrient, data analysis, laboratory testing and biological expertise to optimize anaerobic digestion.  Metsource AN is specifically created based on system evaluations and our laboratory testing to optimize all biokinetics and waste treatment for the system.  In addition, we supply Biosource N or Biosource P for the phosphorus and nitrogen need and Granule Aide and Ferro-Source for the iron and other nutrients needs of the system.  Our goal is to take away the entire nutrient optimization issue for the biology, so the process can run dependably for our clients.
